Was about to rig up the 11m when I guy came over to borrow my spare - ahem - 'donkey dong' thingy. He recommended the 8m and I'm glad I followed his advice. It's the first time I've used this kite and it's really sweet! At first it was nice not to get blown around all over the place but I found it hard to get on the board coz of all the waves.

The conditions were very 'challenging' with the gusty wind and the waves. Only managed one little run the whole morning, the rest of the time I was struggling to walk upwind.

Eventually the wind got up so much it was impossible to walk upwind so took a break. After that, the wind just died uexpectedly. I tried a bit but the kite just fell out of the sky so called it a day. Was pleased to try out my 8m and it was good practice, but not the greatest of sessions.
